At our various campuses, we offer degree programs and professional certificates in many high-demand fields. We also offer customized training and onsite programs to many of the world's largest corporations. As proven by thousands of successful graduates, University of Phoenix is an education that works. It will work for you, too.

How It Works - Real-world education with real-value.

Because University of Phoenix is dedicated to working professionals, our education offers unsurpassed convenience, efficiency, and value. For most programs, you will attend class just once a week at a convenient campus location. Classes are held in the evening or on weekends, so you can continue working full-time while pursing your college education. In addition to classroom interaction, you will also meet with your learning team once a week and complete homework assignments on your own.

Our classes are purposely kept small to encourage active participation and lively discussion. This enables us to leverage the combined experience of the whole class to cover more ground in less time. Courses are offered one at a time, so you can more fully explore each subject. And each course builds upon previous courses to provide a context for better understanding.

The learning teams are organized to replicate the typical work environment. So while you're learning the latest theories and techniques, you're also perfecting your skills at management, communications, and leadership - the type of skills that lead to success in today's business world.

Above all else, the education is focused on your career success. For this reason, programs are continually updated so students can gain the most sought-after skills and expertise employers demand. In addition, assignments can be made applicable to your current job. In fact, over 50% of our students report using a class project at their workplace.

Undergraduate Admission Requirements - Begin to build your future.

To enter an undergraduate program, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21 years of age, and be employed. Applicants who do not meet the minimum age requirement may still apply, but must meet additional requirements to be considered for admission. If you are not employed, you must have access to an organizational environment that allows you to apply the concepts you learn in our courses.

Applicants must complete all required forms for admission, and submit official test scores and official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended. Non-native speakers of English must pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the Test of English as an International Communication (TOEIC). As part of your admission, your prior coursework, elective classes, major studies, and credits awarded through Prior Learning Assessment or the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) will be considered for academic credit. If you have had professional training or have served in the military, you may be able to convert previous experience into academic credits.
