Earn your Criminal Justice Management degree Online at Madison University CJC Staff

Earning your degree with Madison University's distance education program may allow you to advance your career as well as your earning potential. If you are like most of our students, you have already gained the experiential learning and/or transfer credit in your field of study. Madison University's program encourages you to use that experience and/or transfer credit towards earning your degree. An Experiential Learning Portfolio is a folder of documents, that demonstrates which life and learning experiences are equivalent to academic knowledge gained through completion of a Madison University course.

In order to receive your free portfolio assessment, submit documentation that supports your previous education and occupational accomplishments. Your documentation may include the following; current resume, training certificates, seminar certificates, military experience, C.L.E.P. Scores, and College Transcripts. Upon receipt, a faculty member will evaluate your portfolio and assess the amount of college credit you may receive. Typically, the evaluation process is completed within 48 hours from the time your portfolio is received by the University.

Based upon faculty review of the portfolio, students may be awarded college credit. Credit for experiential learning will not exceed the specified number of credit hours per degree program and will not be used in calculating the cumulative grade point average. A grade will be awarded on a course per course basis for officially approved portfolios.
