American Public University System Names New Chair for One of the Nation's Largest National Security, Intelligence Programs @ Criminal Justice Careers Guide

Berry was department chair for the University System's government and international relations department. He also was deputy chair of the political science department at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (part of the National Defense University) and is a 26-year veteran of the Army.

Berry joined the institution three years ago. He retired as a colonel in 2002 from the U.S. Army. He served three tours in Germany; was part of the Army's Delta force; and held joint assignments with the U.S. Navy, Marines and Air Force at the National Defense University and with Defense Information Systems Agency.
