One of the hottest jobs right now is that of Border Patrol Agent. The primary focus of an Agent is to prevent terrorist activities within the United States. As an Agent you will work closely with U.S. Customs Officers in your attempt to keep our boundaries intact. B.P.A.'s also have the responsibility of keeping illegal aliens out of the United States. They are in charge of preventing drug smuggling along our border and in our ports.

The B.P. is looking for physically fit women and men to add to their ranks. These are career positions that will help you make a difference to not only your community, but also your country. Many who hold these jobs report a very high level of job satisfaction.

Before becoming an Agent you will first need to attend five months of paid training at the Customs B.P. Academy. Potential Agents will study such subjects as Immigration, Spanish, physical training and marksmanship.Agents must know how to use and carry guns. The training won't be easy, however achieving the end result will give you a job you can be proud of.
